I have been into exercising on and off since my school days.
But for reasons like being homeless in my 20s and many other great events I had to take times off for months at a time. .
This time however it did not seem like I had a good excuse to not be doing it. . . But a couple of years ago, well at least 3 that is I had a workout partner Tim. We used to meet down at Bally’s.
We did mostly weight lifting..
I now Live in Illinois. I had worked out on and off Solo here at the house. . Suddenly though I did not feel like doing it anymore..
I knew that I missed doing this as a partner way which can make one more motivated..
So I got Anna Sweetrainbow to start exercising with me tonight. .
We started easy with 15 minutes of stretches and twists. Tomorrow we will be on the Health rider. . I told her I won’t feel like doing this unless you do this with me because I am not motivated on my own to do this anymore.

When I used to exercise regularly it was for about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes a day.
I used to do solo because exercising with someone else I would be distracted.
I ended up quitting because my health believe it or not was starting to fail from other circumstances in my life.
When I first met Trebor in person when he lived in California I stayed with him for about 1 month and had lost 25 pounds.
Now to the present day I'm struggling to get started again with Trebor and starting to fight off a bad cold.
Trebor needs it more then ever and if he believes I can motivate him I'll stand by him for his health.
I just pray that he can take some of his weight off soon.
if I lose some (which won't be too bad for me) I'll be happy for the blessing.![]()

I have read a book on Bruce Lee. He developed a style of fighting called Jeet Kune do. . Jeet Kune do not understood by many.
but basically within you need to have basic knowledge and personalize your strategies in your own way. Bruce lee did this because some of the moves of fighting were unnecessary and slowed down the movements. He personalized it to fit him best for his own needs.
for example when a person plays baseball. some are good at the slider. some at the fork ball. you choose what works best for you.
well in personal fitness should have the same approach. . . You can peronalize your own workouts but you still need to have foundational knowledgde of waht exercises is good for what. . ..
what is your goal. are you trying to improve your strength. are you trying to add muscle. . do you just want tone. do you want to be in good cardio shape. .
Thus this will help you to prepare what kinds of exercises are good for you depending upon what your goal is. .
. if you want to be strong. you need to lift a range of lighter and heavy weights. if you wish to be muscular you need to do plenty of sets and high reps. if you want to be cardio. it is good to use certain equipment like stationary bike. treadmill, Eliptacal, stair climbers. swimming. floor exercises. low impact cardio.
Eating will also be an important part whether you want to gain or lose weight for your results. this depends on you and your goals..
. if you are not sure you may get yourself a personal trainer to get you started off on what kinds of exercises you should be doing. ..
in my current situation I have a bad heart problem. that I need to take medication. therefore i am doing a combination of lifting resistance and cardio.
My work outs are spread out a lot so that my heart will not go out of control. this is what personalizing means. . ..
I could enter competitions if i wanted to. but that is not my goal for life. . I just want to stay fit cause it helps me to feel better emotionally and physically.
