That's like us ............. We had a Fruit and Veg Whole sale business and shipped stuff from all over the world, so I know what It's like.

In the summer, we get peaches from Grand Junction, Colorado and they are fantastic.

In the winter we got Strawberries from California and New Zealand. My girls when they were young got sick of them as we had them all year round. Were only brought in for Hotels and restaurants at that time.

To be healthy you should only eat what is in season. That's how God designed us, so in winter you eat warming foods and in summer cooling foods, and its heaps cheaper on the budget

I'm doing one and half hours bikeriding a day, then I do my kettle bell routine. Then its on the bag 10 minutes.

Kettle bells and bike riding are very addictive.

Before Guillain Barre Syndrome struck me 4yrs ago this month, I was in the gym at least 3 times a week.
This devastating condition, which has a fatality rate of about 10% robbed me of the full use of my legs and arms.
Months of physio followed to even be taught the basics of staying upright and walking again ( they had problems with me on that front because being the stubborn person I am, I wouldn't even use a stick and sometimes even had to be threatened to be tied in a wheelchair ).
I'd gone from a 3 times a week gym person to someone who couldn't even walk in a straight line or feed herself.

My " routine " these days ( as it's left me with severe damage to my motor nerves supplying my limbs ) is basically getting some physio in before my brain realises what my body is doing

Wall press up's are a hoot ! As many times the brain has engaged because Billy Barry ( my pet name for the Guillain Barre ) has gone and told my brain what this ole bod is doing, signals block to the arms and " THUMP " face first into the wall many times

Working the legs is an even BIGGER hoot ! and I usually end up like

But hey ho, I'm blessed, I have my legs, thousands don't
