I bet if someone did that little bird story as a puppet show for children in Sunday school and they were laughing at that little bird puppet doing his BOOMPH bit when he hit the glass, THEY would see that little open window and I bet they'd be sat there going red in the face SCREECHING at the top of their lungs,,,,,, THE WINDOWWWWWWWWWWWWW, FLY IN THE WINDOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Eyes of a child you see Canny, eyes of a child

How do we know that God has not been there before us.
As God promised all those that seek, shall find, He will get the Gospel message to them. Who knows how many times the Spirit of the Lord whisked a believer away someplace to preach the Gospel? He certainly whisked Philip away after preaching the gospel to the eunuch.

Acts 8: 38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

My answer to those that look down on God because He condemns those in far away places for never hearing the Gospel, that God knows whom is seeking Him and whom are not. No one can say that He never found a way to send a believer there for all those that He knows are seeking Him. He is able.

For believers, we are to be witnesses of the Good News as He leads us. I am not saying we do not have to preach the Gospel. I am merely saying that God is at work to save those that are seeking Him, and those that would have received the Gospel, God would definitely have them hear it for His Word will not return void in that all those that seek, shall find. His promise.

He doesn't believe you because YOUR way is not HIS way.
Lily. I love the story. To get through to the little bird you have to become a bird (the feathered type) and talk its language. Perhaps even go through the open window to set an example.

After all that is what God did.

why is it so much easier for me to get the analogy of the bird,, ,,, could be the high flyers,, or the birds of prey,, who knows. His eye is on the sparrow
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................

I would love for someone to use that little bird story maybe with the help of puppets in a Sunday school class.
Paul used to do Bible stories with puppets for the children. Wonder if he still does

Wonder what happened to that bird

You know, I always thought He was crying/grieving for Him... but only in the last couple months now has this been shown to me twice, what you just said. Jesus knew he'd bring him back. I never even thought of it before.. so thanks again for bringing this up.. Amazing!!!
Amen.. BELIEEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HIM! : ) Gbu xxx

Just to throw my penny worth in about Jesus greiving !
It is my opinion that Jesus was crying because HE felt the anguish and remorse for those mourning for Lazarus !
Havn't you ever gone to a funeral of someone you don,t know , but someone you do know has asked you to come ? And have you cried as you felt the remorse of your friend ? I have and I beleive that is why Jesus wept, HE knew Mary and Martha and felt their greif !
And dosn't Scripture tell us to weep with those who weep and Laugh with those who laugh !
Col 2:8 -10 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
