I'll start:
This is one organization that I have been a part of for a while and it is free (although they appreciate donations)
They start by sending you 10 "pocket gospels" that contain the book of John. I find these handy to have. If you are apprehensive about talking to someone, just hand them one of these; it contains a brief presentation of the gospel at the beginning followed by the gospel of John.
