    Default Applying Faith In Ministry

God has made us all able ministers of the new testament.

2 Corinthians 3:4And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2 Corinthians 4:5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Matthew 10:17But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

John 16:13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

John 14:26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Apply that faith in Jesus Christ when the Lord leads you to minister. This is why it is not on us to strive with man as in we are not to argue.

2 Timothy 2:23But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

The yoke of the ministry and the success is on the Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Apply your faith in Him in the ministry and rest in Him. He is Lord.

    Hi Pariah,

God has made us all tellers of the Gospel message as in Acts 10:35-46.
The New Testament did not exist in the time of the Apostles and Christ.
In fact the only scriptures referred to by the Apostles and Jesus Christ was the Old Testament Scriptures. These are the scriptures which have remained as God said they would in Psalm 12. However he also promised to put the laws within our hearts which the truth of the gospel does in the coming of the Holy Spirit whom people can only receive through Christ Jesus.
David in the psalms understood about our Lord Jesus coming and wrote about him as he was led by the Holy Spirit. All who have the teaching of Christ as the prophets did are led by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21.
These were the scriptures Peter was talking about being Spirit given.

We believe the letters and New Testament were written by the Apostles also Spirit filled men so these were added as an account of the good news.
But more importantly they were not written to provide faith but to show the difference between those who have the Spirit and those who do not.
Truth is an essential part of the gospel message and we know that Christ taught that the Holy Spirit was he Spirit of Truth.

I believe we are all entrusted to preach the gospel message. As Christ said, " You study the scriptures (old testament) because in them you believe you will find life, those scriptures speak of me and yet you will not come to me."
Christ is the light of the World and he said, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me." In the message of Christ we see John announcing Christ brings the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We are in dark times and those now are living in their last times. Now is the time to seek the Lord whilst he may still be found.

    Love Faith.xx

And the Gospel is about Jesus Christ, not about the Spirit. The indwelling Spirit is testifying of Jesus Christ as well.

The New Testament did not exist in the time of the Apostles and Christ. In fact the only scriptures referred to by the Apostles and Jesus Christ was the Old Testament Scriptures. AND once received, that is the only way the Holy Spirit can fulfill the role of the Comforter as Jesus can only fulfill the role of the Good Shepherd. Jesus leads us by the Holy Spirit within us so when led by the Spirit, all eyes are on Jesus.

David in the psalms understood about our Lord Jesus coming and wrote about him as he was led by the Holy Spirit.
Testifying of Jesus for the hope of salvation is on Him.

All who have the teaching of Christ as the prophets did are led by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. These were the scriptures Peter was talking about being Spirit given.
Being given as in received as in no more continual filling, for you are filled.

We believe the letters and New Testament were written by the Apostles also Spirit filled men so these were added as an account of the good news. But more importantly they were not written to provide faith but to show the difference between those who have the Spirit and those who do not.
No. They were written to testify of Jesus Christ as the scriptures testifies of Him: John 5:39-40 You keep pointing to the Holy Spirit like that, then that is not being led by the Spirit to your Good Shepherd. Follow Jesus. The scriptures that speaks of not having the Spirit are in relation to the faith in Jesus Christ.

Truth is an essential part of the gospel message and we know that Christ taught that the Holy Spirit was he Spirit of Truth.
Jesus is the Truth, therefore the Spirit of Truth will speak of Jesus. John 14:6

As the Spirit is doing, so should you: John 15:26-27 You cannot do both.

I believe we are all entrusted to preach the gospel message. As Christ said, " You study the scriptures (old testament) because in them you believe you will find life, those scriptures speak of me and yet you will not come to me."
And yet you keep giving invitations out to come after the Spirit.

Christ is the light of the World and he said, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me." In the message of Christ we see John announcing Christ brings the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
And yet believers are being led away from Christ to go after the Spirit to get this other baptism.

We are in dark times and those now are living in their last times. Now is the time to seek the Lord whilst he may still be found.
By pointing them to Christ Jesus and not to the Spirit. Jesus is Whom the indwelling Holy Spirit is pointing to. Are you looking in the direction you are to look to as in Jesus Christ, or are you looking at the "Pointer"?
