As you say ByHisGrace, we are saved by grace alone, not by works, so no-one can boast. But once saved, we are called to do the good works that the Lord has chosen in advance for us to do. We are called into service, to take up our cross and follow the Master who, walked the extra mile, turned the other cheek, met the needs of those in need, healed the sick and raised the dead. "No-one comes to the Father but by me" "I am the way". What was his way? He walked the extra mile, turned the other cheek etc..It's not rocket science.
