Now it looks like Microsoft is following Mozilla's example:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 to Include So-Called 'Porn Mode' Privacy Feature

Just a warning, but I came across this article,
Firefox Adds 'Porn Mode' And Market Share
Which states:
I admit that I use Firefox, strictly for surfing for porn (my "old familiars"), as I can delete cookies and browsing history at the click of a button, which is not as easy with IE or Google Chrome. I have uninstalled and re downloaded it several times, because of the conflict in my double-mind, and the isolation I suffer in my life.Porn mode, simply put, allows users to turn on the privacy feature in Firefox and not have the browser capture the latest URLs or cookies that you've visited on the Web. This means that some users can surf the Web for questionable content and not worry about anyone else sitting down at the machine and sussing out what you've been looking at.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

This is not a "good reason" not to use Firefox.
That is like saying a good reason not to drive a car is because you could get into a wreck.
We must be accountable for our own actions.

Granted, but we can CHOOSE NOT to drive a car that we suspect, might have something wrong with it, that could get us into a wreck.
Although I admit, I may be seen as hypocritical, as I use Internet Explorer as my main internet browser, and will probably continue to do so. I DID get rid of Firefox, though, hopefully, NEVER to return to it again.

I agree with Titus
Because we might not agree with a facility does not mean we need to boycott the system.
My Anti virus software has parental control which stops porn etc. I think that most antivirus sytems will be the same. So if an Internet service hides something i do not need to hide; so what???
If we disagree , at least one of us is wrong!
fire fox is far more safe than internet explorer i run fire fox and dont have porn
So, don't view them.
I don't even have IE on my system, Firefox is my only browser, using Linux.
Just downloaded IE 8, which has the "porn mode" feature, which they call "InPrivate", which will not keep a record of sites you go to.
I did get Firefox back, as I have noticed that it handles flash applications better than IE (don't have to reload the page more than twice). I am, in fact, at this moment, using Firefox to download video of a cartoon I used to watch back in the '80's. Awesome. As far as the porn, I am still tempted, from time to time to go to my "old familiars" using Firefox, unfortunately.
