I watched a documentary not all that long ago,, it followed a lady and her family (I think it was Sweden) she had a long long slow and painful death ahead of her and was also likely to lose her mind eventually, so opted for euthanasia, it was very touching,,,

All her business was in order before she went, all her family went with her and said how much they loved her and she them,, they all said their goodbyes and she went to sleep.

It occurred to me after reading the Abortion thread,,, just how we dismiss the rights of the unborn ,,, and yet when a person is in sound mind, they cannot choose for themselves... It is an odd system..

I guess the problem comes in that if you legalize something like this, then within a few years it gets blown out of proportion and people take advantage of it to kill off Grandma who is in the way.

Just like abortion. Originally, it represented a few times very early in pregnancy in the cases of incest, rape or the wellfare of the mother. From there it esclated in a 'lets kill off the baby because it's a girl and I wanted a boy in my 6th month of pregnancy'.

These things are like all evil, you let it get it's foot in the door and then it grows into something you didn't originally agree to.

I cannot agree to selective abortion either.

Yes do to sleep apnia but Praise the Lord I only nap about twice a day for about 1 hour.
