Goverment consultation closes next week Fri. 24. July. 5pm.
Worth getting the Institute's correspondance. This is from their's of July. ''Sex Education''. 7 covering advise for filling in the form. PSHE. I haven't included their leaflet here.
It is proposed to includes info. on oral & anal sex bisexuallity etc for 7 yr olds. Condom ''credit cards'' for 13 yr olds. abortion video for 14 yr olds.Teacher discussions on sado-masochisum. Video advising ''Try experimenting with boys & girls & feel who you feel most comfortable with.''

It smacks at porn'ish minds in the heart of the men?? who dreamed up additions to the original proposals for changes to create a 'better' holistically educated nation; who's ed. systems are never the best, what ever their basis Christian or other wise.
. But the additions by those who have had the time & mind to add; what they want to have some control over; to the original proposals, surely don't have young children or grand children ??
Awakening the primal needs of a human at those earlier ages is making; what might seem to be their innocence, the place for weaknesses to be manipulated by Satan. I've never forgotten one of our leader saying, in the past, Satan definitely has children in his sights & they are one of his main targets ( Families being another) We only have to look around our neighbourhoods don't we, let alone the rest of the world.

Lampstand Senior Member no comment on everything else that is mentioned....(I'm tired is my excuse and don't know enough about how it would be implemented in schools) BUT i think education on abortion would be good, simply because it would shock children and young adults into what a horrific process it is, and shock tactics might stop them having an abortion.

So unless I see some actual evidence I think they are just scare stories.
Lampstand Senior Member The stuff you mention makes me sick, 1 reason is I was abused when I was 7. However I been trying to firgure out how to get the subjects on the forum, because I knew as soon as gay rights was excepted this would be next, and it is in the chuch to. I would like to present it on an adult only section, people need to understand how it destrots a childs life, no one wants to hear it but this is what is meant by it shale be like in the days of Noah and what was going on in Sodom and Gomarah, but people think God is bad because he destroyed so many people I must stop for now.

I would have strong objections to my children being taught things that children need not know,, I have no objection to answering what they ask, and no more until they are able to understand when they want more they will ask more. I am of the opinion that showing children something like abortion will detatch them, and also long term de sensitise them and I believe it will have the opposite effect to what was wished.
farming is a prime example, most of us that have never dealt with the reality, could not bear to watch some of it,,, and yet the child of the farmer is completely unphased by it....
Guns...... In the USA it seems it is the norm and people are not upset at all by the thought that they could shoot and kill someone (Imean in self defence guys) ,,, in the UK the idea so far is abhorent,, because we are not used to it.
when you become used to something, it is no longer threatening, dangerous, evil, unacceptable, or even sad.

Lampstand Senior Member I agree with canny........... the children are given all this information.....so obviously they are going to curious and dabble in sex more freely ...... they don't think about the abortion being terrible because watch the TV you see it, just the same as you see people being shot, murdered and tortured. Everything and anything goes in the world today. So as christians we have to be Salt and Light, to our dying countries.
