People can be addicted to food and caffeine, should we remove these from our churches as well? Could tempt people to stumble perhaps?

to be in Gods mind. A very arogant claim.
What I can do is provide Gods word which backs up my post as fact,,,
Ephesians 5:18.
That deals with the " drunkeness ".

I can accomadate you with Gods word on not allowing anything to master you,,
1 Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19.

What I can't provide you with is Scripture that forbids a Christian to drink, because there is no such Scripture and any further discussion about whether Christians should drink at all is mere human opinion.
