False Religions And Philosophies
We will discuss,
1. The Kingdom of the Cults.
2. pesudo-Christian religions (cult)
They counterfeit true Christiany, distorting godly doctrine, deceiving people.
3.Religious philosophies.
4. Non-Christian Religions.

1.The Kingdom of Cults.
Defined as a group of people gathered about a specfic person or person's interpretation of the Bible that deviates from one or more major doctrines of Biblical Christanity. Most of these groups insist that they are to be classified as Christians. But they are not. Examples of these are Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science, The Unification Church.

An example of a religious philosphy is the New Age movement.

Non-Christian Religions.
Judaism and Eastern Religions,
Buddhism,Taoism,Islam(Muslims) They do not claim to be Christians and do not use the New Testament to try to show thier similarity to Christainity. Although thes religion are generally not like one another, they have one thing in common they deny that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only way a person can have a relationship with God.

Following is some scriptures to read and some questions you can answer.
1. Read Romans 1: 18-25, 2 Timothy 3: 1-7, 4:3 1Peter 5:8 and Jude 11. Why do false religions and philosophies exist in the world?

2. Read John 8:31,32; Romans 16:17; 2 Timothy 2: 16-18; and
2 John 10,11.
How can people be freed from these false religions and philosophies?
