Dispensational Interpretation

This is in comparison to the last entry starting in Chapter 11: V.1,2
Depicts Jewish temple worship restored in the first three and one half years of the Great Tribulation, also know as Daniels Seventieth week. This is followed by " the abomination of desolation," a time when the Beast will domand that temple sacrifices cease, and his image be placed in the temple to be worship. see Dan.9: 26,27.
They will tread forty-two months: this began about 605 B.C. with Judahs captivity under Nebuchadnezzar and will likly not end until the Second Coming (see 1920,21; Dan. 2:34,35).
Some interpreters, however, believe this was completed in 1967when Israel captured old Jerusalem in the six day War. (see Luke 21:24).

Forty-two months as a time frame shows perfect harmony between Dan. and Rev. Daniel speaks of "70 weeks of years" (9:24-27), revealing that all prophetic history for this age will culminate in a final seventieth week of years. During this final seven-year period, every prophecy concerning national Israel and Jersalem would be fullfilled literally. However, he spoke about this final week of years as being divided into two distinct three and one-half year periods. ( Dan. 27), the last half being the Great Tribulation. This is the significance of Revelation's 42 months (11:2), 1,260 days (11:3; 12:6), and " time and times and half a time" (12:14).

    there is no evidence dispensationally speaking that the first 31/2 years Daniels 70th week , or the times of jacobs troubles have been , it is still in the future because of the many prophecies as yet unfulfilled , including the building of the temple (Ezekiel 41)the dimensions of which do not fit any previous buildings

    If you read Dan. 9: 24, 25, & 26.
    You should be able to see that the 7O weeks, which are actually equal to 490 years.
    The first 69 weeks of =483 years. What has not been used yet is 1 Week = 7 years, that time will begin with the return of Jesus.
    That will be split up into 2 sections 3+1/2 years. The False Profit will be able to convine the people of that will be peace in the world. Half way through or 3+1/2 years the fake peace will end and satan will take over and then the Great Tribulation begins with the last 3+1/2 years ending with the battle of
    Armageddom in the valley of Megiddo.

    The reason the time is set up as 1 week equals 1 year is Artaxerxes changed the time as ruler that 1 week would equal 1 year.
    So the last 7 years has not been fullfilled yet.
    After that satan will be chained up and cast into the bottomless pit for 1,000 tears, during this time will be the 1,000 years reign of Christ as the New Jerusalem will come down from Heaven, at which time we and all the saints will rule with Christ. ( I believe we will be raptured before that 7 years of the Great Tribulation starts.)

    Yes I believe the War mentioned in Ezekiel,
    with Gog and Magog which is reference to Russia, Has yet to be fought, but I believe the world is headed there real fast.
