Jesus said those who are born of the spirit ARE spirit; not phisical with the spirit IN them.
No offence, but I'm going with Jesus on this one.
Actually I'm always going to go with Jesus on any subject.
That of course can't happen until Christ returns and resurrects us, so we are not born again or saved in this phisical life.
born again, are born again in spirit.ie the holy spirit comes into us.tells us truths etc, means we can talk to God,which others cannot.
Jesus said those who are born of the spirit ARE spirit; not phisical with the spirit IN them.
No offence, but I'm going with Jesus on this one.
Actually I'm always going to go with Jesus on any subject.

are you saying Jesus was a sinner ? and needed Baptism ?
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................
1Pet1:22-23:
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
We are born again when we accept Jesus as our savior. When we accept Jesus as our savior, we become citizens of Israel (or, "sons and daughter of Israel" according to the source quoted by todd_vetter33). Israel is a kingdom not of this world.
Jesus did not say that we are not saved or born again until after death. God's children live according to the spirit in this life.
Why do so many people have so much trouble with the simple teachings of the Bible?
The living enduring word of God is the spirit of God. It's the same spirit the man Jesus received on the day of his baptism of Water and spirit. It's the same spirit he promised to pour out on the true worshippers of God. It's for this reason Jesus promised those of the truth would hear His voice. They would be able to do all that he could do and more.
The apostles received this same spirit Jesus had before physical death. Can you think of any Christians who can heal with a word today? The Apostles were of the way, truth, and life, in every way that Jesus was.
If one takes the time to view the links I have shared. you will see that I am speaking a clear truth regarding the title of this thread and Provide a great deal of historical evidence to support the concept illustrating prophecy fulfillment where less than prophecy fulfillment has been a tradition for many centuries.

God is not the author of confusion. yet the end result of the christian world after 2000 years is denominational division. What is the cause of this division since they all build on the many versions of the Christian bible which they claim is the word instead of receiving the spirit of God (the true word)?
Proverbs 6:19
A false witnesses who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.
dis•cord: (d s kôrd ) n.. 1. a. Lack of agreement among persons, groups, or things. b. Tension or strife resulting from a lack of agreement; dissension.
For unity in Christ and solid truth, one must speak the truth about God, from God, if they are to bare good fruit and deliver souls.
Proverbs 14:25
A true witnesses delivers souls, But a deceitful witness speaks lies.
All denominations build on the bible today so why are they not unified in the spirit of god speaking one truth? The one truth is the Law, yet the bible can makes men break the Law. Those who claim jesus died friday if prophecy states Wednesday, how can they repent of this sin? They belive they are taking the gospel to the world through the letter. The gospel is spirit and truth. This is who the true worshippers of God are to be. The gospel will only goto the world when one receives it through the spirit. for the letter kills. 2 corinthians 3
One example of how the bible can cause someone to make false witness or tell a lie. If you were to say that Jesus answered Pilate not one word because one of the gospels states this. Are you telling a truth or a lie?
Another Gospel illustrates that Jesus answered Pilate many things. Who is telling the truth inspired by the holy spirit since God is incapable of inspiring a lie?
Just a though to ponder.
Here is a link that compiles all of what History says transpired between pilate and Christ for this single point in history.

Todd, claiming that Jesus was a sinner puts you outside of what I can consider to be Christian. Jesus has to be the flawless lamb. Luke 18:19 does not say Jesus was a reformed sinner. On the contrary, Christians take it to be a claim that Jesus is God. Q: Why do you call me good? A: Because you are God. Not, A: Because I made a mistake.
When Jesus came to John to be baptized, John reasonably pointed out that Jesus did not need baptism from John, but that he, John, did need baptism from Jesus. Jesus used the Baptism to announce the start of his ministry, to set an example for us, and at most, to identify with sinners without being a sinner.
The Jews were trying to stone Jesus for claiming to be God. Jesus was pointing out that he was not guilty of blaspheming. Jesus is not equating himself with a mere man who may be a child of God, but he refers to himself as sanctified and sent into the world, unique.John 10:34-36 (New King James Version)
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?[a] 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
You even quote verses that equate Jesus with God. "By him all things were created."Colossians 1:15-18
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
John 10:36
do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
sanc·ti·fy (sngkt-f)
tr.v. sanc·ti·fied, sanc·ti·fy·ing, sanc·ti·fies
1. To set apart for sacred use; consecrate.
2. To make holy; purify.
If Jesus was with out sin before his Baptism which he said was Necessary. For what reason did he need to be sanctified? The process of sanctification is to take somthing that is not pure and make it pure by process. When the ark was made it was made out of Eathly goods. Was it not sanctified before Sacred use?
It's stated in later bible verses that the congregations and followers of jesus also were sanctified by the spirit (baptism of Water/repentance) and Spirit. Most Christians do not understand that they are to become sons and daughters of God in the same manner that Jesus was a Son of God.
Please explain.

Why does Peter refer to living believers as having been born again? Why do you disagree with Peter?
Then God is one person I can rule out as the author of your posts.God is not the author of confusion.
You are introducing more division.yet the end result of the christian world after 2000 years is denominational division.
A false witness also tries to gain credibility with frivolous statements about integrity which beg the question.Proverbs 6:19
A false witnesses who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.
There are only a few major issues that divide the church. Most of them result from where people place authority. Catholics=tradition. Pentecostals=emotion. Episcopals=world. Mormons=Smith. You=? Why do you make claims that run counter to the heart of Christian doctrine? All denominations build on the bible today so why are they not unified in the spirit of god speaking one truth?
What difference does it make what day Jesus died on? The day before the Sabbath, Saturday or a special Sabbath? It just makes someone wrong on an inconsequential detail. Those who claim jesus died friday if prophecy states Wednesday, how can they repent of this sin?
You are trying to say the Bible is wrong because it contradicts unreliable sources outside of the Bible. If the Bible is wrong, then why do you quote it as a reliable authority? One example of how the bible can cause someone to make false witness or tell a lie. If you were to say that Jesus answered Pilate not one word because one of the gospels states this. Are you telling a truth or a lie?
