Dear JIP , If someomr does not understand a verse I am sure someone will try to clarify it ...

If someone disagrees with what is being said then that is a personal thing so you must
read that particular scripture and answer from the context of that passage whether

a you disagree because it is wrong in context

b it is wrong according to your doctrines ,

c it is wrong according to the doctrines of your particular church or denomination

d you are wrong and he is right according to the scriptures

so if one disagrees then that is between you , chuck missler and the truth of the word and if one reads the word with an open mind the truth will be there , but if one reads with a closed minf full of assumptions and prejudices then the Holy Ghost is not going to fight you , he will let you get on with it in your own will not Gods

yes onesi you are right for the first part until you reached the last few sentences... but then like you rightly said it is a personal matter with me and God.. I wish to be as personal as it can get... if disagreeing with chuck will get me a personal attention then I'd most certainly love that.

i had gone thru' chucks sermon about a year ago.. i used to post his teaching too here in the earlier stages... Chuck is good but JESUS is the BEST

Can you please stop this constant criticism of scripture if you have got something to say then say it , there is nothing clever in trying to be clever ,
you ask a question and when someone answers all we get is sarcasm well you have a problem either with me or with the truth of the bible and either way it is getting very tiresome ...I will ask you again if you have a problem be mature and say and stop all this double talk , it is not clever or helpful to the forum All you want to do is argue about the scriptures well if you do not believe the word of God you really do have a problem

What is it about cleverness you are talking?

Since you have asked me yes I do have a problem with you filling the forum with your only Paulism doctrines...
you try to overdo it and do not know how to complete it..

Oh I see well perhaps I should tell you that my role here as assistant administrator is to if you like police this forum from a scriptural view point . and as this is a christian forum ,the scriptures is exactly where I ask and expect people to explain their views from and "human wisdom' or as you call it being "rational" is not based on the word of God but of the minds of men .

You do not like it when i refer to scripture ...you do not like it when Chuck missler refers to scripture ...the problem is you do not believe the scriptures and you resent anyone speaking from them

because you have doubts and uncertainties about your identity , dont knock someone who knows the Love of God and what CHrist Jesus achieved for all of us , I have the love of God not by being rational or wise but because of Christ and I learned that from all 66 books of Gods Word in particular Pauls Epistles because the good message of the dispensation of grace its not found anywhere else

I am not the arrogant one because I know everything I have is because of Christ

you are the one who is looking for salavation in your "own" wisdom and philosophies and doctrines ..so you must answer honestly the question who is arrogant

You want to read the forums "statement of faith "and ask yourself some serious questions

IMO if saints get the first 8 chapters of Romans their identity in Christ on such solid ground as to how they are reconciled to GOD , justified and sanctified by the BLOOD and the CROSS "NOW" , they will no longer be "reeds" blown about by all false doctrines, not by what any man says , but , they will know what GOD has said. It is also important as to what is to come for the nation Israel
