Malachi - last book in OT , just to warm up

Not widely known as a 'warm up' book....but I happen to like it.

Do you think it would also be a good idea to post the pertaining scripture with the link so people can read it as well?

What kind of comments did you want or are we just letting it rest if we agree?
I doubt I would have a hard time ever disagreeing with C. Missler. He is certainly one of my favorite Bible teachers.

Dear GloryB , no you dont have to Post as it is primarily an opportunity for us to experience some interesting bible study from someone who knows the bible

As he says always use the principle in Acts17:11and check out the scriptures

Over here in the UK this type of teaching fy going through a book verses by verse is unusual and I know it should challenge us


Comments neednt be anymore than how you felt , but if anyone has a doubt or unsure of something he says then all can help clarify and edify

I hope this thread will be less a post where everyones beliefs are debated and more a place where we can all grow through hearing the word

I will on a wednesday use another book as it will be a contrast to the saturday teachings ,

This was an easy to read NIV version.

I think the main point here is that God was not pleased with Israel and spoke a curse on their future. He also opens the door for the gentiles.

Dear GloryB , sorry to chip in here but Edom descended from Esau and not Jacob (Israel)and as a sidenote if you follow the history of the Edomites you will see some interesting characters eg Haman and Herod Antipas
Going back to Esau where all the problem began he immediately displeased God with His fleshly approach to life , first with the birthright issue and later by having many Canaanite wives
