who is saying diffrent m8.?
I came on here to ask Onesiphorus to ban me. I believe that by being here for the sake of the forum, I am consenting to be partakers with them that are committing spiritual adultery.
I cannot be like what most churches are doing today: crossing their fingers and hope they repent after hearing a sermon from the pulpit someday that will finally speak to them. Jesus taught excommunication after reaching out to the lost: Matthew 18:11-17. Jesus and the disciples taught a commandment to withdraw when no one was hearing us. Matthew 10:12-15 & 2 Thessalonians 3:1-6
I need to depart so that what I have shared was not some strong opinions: but the Word of God that all believers will be judged by when judgment will fall on the House of God, and it is coming. 1 Peter 4:17
It is a serious matter to climb up to God via the Holy Spirit ( John 10:1 )and not just by the Way of the Son. That IS the broadening of the Way, and ignoring Who the Holy Spirit and the scriptures are pointing to in having that reconciled relationship with God and that is through Jesus Christ.
Since Onesiphorus is away for seven days, I shall by His grace... state my withdrawal from this community in the hopes that everyone will consider this as a serious matter, but nevertheless, I need His help to withdraw as the commandment is given. It is better to show my faith in His help to enable me to withdraw by making this announcement... again....but as I pray He shall help me to honour Him for the last time in this forum. John 5:22-23
By His grace, I am defending the Lampstand Statement of Faith as stated here:
Even though recognizing this statement of faith below:We believe in the singularity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that the only way to the Father is through the Son.
The first quoted statement of faith speaks of how to have that relationship. We believe that God is eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the only Way we can stand apart from the rudiments in the world and that is why we are called to be witnesses of Him as the Holy Spirit does as well: John 15:26-27 John 16:13-14 Philippians 2:9-11 John 13:31-32
So it is out of heeding His saying and doing them ( John 14:6 ), that we find ourselves building our house on the Rock. Matthew 7:13-27 Luke 13;24-30 John 10:7-9
Stated below is the emphasis on obeying the commandment to withdraw.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-6 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15
May the Lord cause the increase in giving all who read this pause so that they may take time out, go to Jesus in prayer, and ask for wisdom and discernment in these latter days so that He may help them to be ready when He appears to present them as vessels unto honour in God's House as the chaste bride He calls us to be. 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 1 Timothy 4:1-2 1 John 3:22-23 2 Corinthians 13:5 Timothy 2:18-26 1 John 3:3 Jude 1:24-25
Keep your eyes on Jesus and relate to God through your first love, the Bridegroom. The Lord help all that hear His voice to do this: Amen.
Love in Christ Jesus:

A divided hope is an insecure hope and thereby lacking the necessary assurance for that singular hope to be hope.
Let nothing divide your hope in Jesus. Colossians 1:20-23

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................
Scott I'm not preaching to you, but as I read your posting. these verses came to me. Remember we are in a battle against evil. and he wants to destroy Gods people. The recent events here prove this. Don't let him take over, you have much more to contribute to the Forum. Be blessed
1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Romans 15
1We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
Dear Pariah
Your opinions are valued by all of us. You cannot expect everyone to agree with you all the time. I have not followed all the details of your post woth Onesi, but what I have read seems to have been strong.
Maybe a cooling off period would help but please do not leave us.
George
If we disagree , at least one of us is wrong!
Does anyone know whether Pariah has left the forum
