503 Errors

I have been noticing quite a few 503 errors on my end. That has made me decide to start this thread. If you experience a 503 error, as soon as you can gain access back to the board, please post in here that you received an error.

I am going to start keeping track of how bad it gets in relation to traffic. I have noticed them when traffic is low so I can't imagine this script causing all the errors.

If it does not improve, I may consider moving to a different hosting company.

I got the message 3 times in the last two hours. No problems earlier today.

It's 8:36 PM and I've gotten it twice in a row. (Site says 8:34)
It took me three tries just to get this posted.

Most of the time it is when I submit a post and then there is a big error screen that shows up with the number 503 ERROR with an explanation that the site is experiencing difficulties or high traffic. It seems to happen mainly in the evening.

Sometimes a 'refresh' will fix it....and sometimes it doesn't.

I get batches of them, but not lately, seems to be fully functional for the past week.

I've had quite a few, but find that the back arrow takes me back to the last window, then I try again. Sometimes it takes a couple of times.

When is the evening? Us brits, if we have any sense are in bed when it comes round in your part of the world. I have only had a very few all the time I have been on this forum.

That is why Gibby is concerned. There doesn't seem to be the kind of high traffic on this site at that particular time that would cause the problem. This is when it has to be tracked for awhile so good information can be passed on to the web host.
